Helical and Continuous Curved Handrail

Part of our bespoke manufacturing portfolio, our continuous, helical and horizontal curved handrail components offer an alternative to a staircase comprised of straight handrails and posts. Suitable for situations where a staircase does not have a consistent rake or step size, or where an existing handrail of this type is being restored or duplicated.

Many period houses feature these smooth, flowing lines of uninterrupted handrail, which are not only easy to use, but elegant and stylish in appearance. These types of staircase can really add a grand design statement to any hallway.

Continuous handrail is created using straight rails combined with pre-shaped fittings to create a flowing balustrade but it does not turn and rise at the same time.

Helical handrail turns and rises at the same time, spiralling and adding a smooth contoured rail above spindles, railings or glass.

Horizontal curved handrail is used in landing areas to continue curving lines, but without rising or falling. Support posts can be used with all these styles, and are designed to fit underneath the handrail.
